About Marrakech

Marrakech : the red city, a dreamy world of Morocco, the fourth largest city of country. Located to the north of the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas mountains, it’s location made it the most touristic cites in all over the world as it is mentioned in TripAdvisor arrangement 2015.

Several tourists take advantages of their holidays to have a great memories inside the city or it’s suburbs, breaking time in discovering historical monuments of the city that belong to Almoravids age that bear Andalusian influences (eg: the red wall that surrounds all the old part of city, Koutoubia Mosque, Albadia castle, Lbahia castle & Menara garden..) trekking (through the epic Atlas Mountain range and the deep yellow sands of the famous Sahara), climbing (Climbing enthusiasts certainly find a place to go rock climbing in or around Marrakech, especially on Toubkal Mountain which is the highest peak of Atlas 4167M), skiing (Just 45 miles from Marrakech in the High Atlas Mountains, Oukaimeden is Africa’s highest ski resort, about 3273 meters above sea level), swimming, Getting lost in Souks* ( small road full of markets that sell everything comes to your mind including the local products as the leather & wood Traditional handicraft). 

In Addition to all of these, the magic of Marrakech appear after the beautiful sunshine, when huge numbers of people start to gather in the Place “Jamaa Lafna” (the heart of the city) to see several different kinds of music & food and sitting around singers, comedians, snake charmers, henna tattooists and storytellers… 

This square is considered as a “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) . The place became famous because of its daily active concentration of traditions & behaviors.
